Certified Legal Document Preparer

 Kristi grew up in Oceanside, California, where she began her legal career as a file clerk for a personal injury attorney. After relocating to Arizona in 2002, she joined a small family law and criminal defense firm, where she worked as a Firm Administrator and Paralegal for more than seven years. During that time, Kristi developed a strong foundation in legal practice and case management before pursuing her goal of working in public service with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Kristi joined the Arizona Attorney General’s Office as a Paralegal with the Solicitor General’s Office, where her responsibilities included assisting with appellate litigation and the preparation of legal opinions. Her experience at the Attorney General’s Office further strengthened her legal research, writing, and analytical skills and provided her with valuable experience handling complex legal matters.

In 2013, Kristi earned her designation as a Certified Paralegal. In 2015, she became a Certified Legal Document Preparer and founded AZ Legal Documents, LLC, through which she provides comprehensive legal document preparation services.

Although Kristi valued her time working for the State of Arizona, she ultimately felt drawn back to family law. She returned to private practice and spent more than ten years working with a small family law firm, gaining extensive experience in family law. She later transitioned to focus on AZ Legal Documents, LLC, while also providing contract paralegal and legal support services to attorneys throughout the Valley.

In 2022, Kristi returned to working alongside a family law attorney while continuing to own and manage AZ Legal Documents, LLC. With more than two decades of experience in the legal field, Kristi brings a unique combination of practical knowledge, attention to detail, and extensive hands-on experience to her work with attorneys and clients.

Outside of the legal world, Kristi is married to Darryl, who retired from the United States Navy as a Commander in 2011. Together, they have three children. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys traveling, developing her photography skills, spending time with her family, riding along in the golf cart while Darryl plays golf, and, most importantly, simply enjoying life.
