Certified Legal Document Preparer

Kristi grew up in Oceanside, California, where she began her legal career working as a file clerk for a personal injury attorney. In 2002, Kristi moved to Arizona and became a Firm Administrator/Paralegal for a small criminal defense firm that also practiced family law services. She remained at this firm for over seven years before following her ambition to work for the Attorney General's Office. Kristi became a Paralegal for the Solicitor General's Office, which included duties such as drafting legal opinions and appellate litigation. In 2013, Kristi became a Certified Paralegal. By 2015, she earned her certification as a Certified Legal Document Preparer and founded AZ Legal Documents, LLC, where she offers comprehensive legal document preparation. After spending some time working for the State of Arizona, Kristi felt drawn back to family law, where she dedicated the remainder of her career as a Certified Paralegal. In June of 2020, Kristi decided to focus solely on her business, and she 'retired' from her position as a Certified Paralegal with the family law firm that had become her 'work family.' It was a bittersweet decision. Kristi continues to provide contract services to attorneys throughout the valley, including estate planning assistance, ensuring that clients receive top-notch support. With over seventeen years of legal experience, you can be sure that you are in good hands. Kristi is married to Darryl, who retired as a Commander from the Navy in 2011. Together, they have three children. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys learning photography, traveling, spending time with her family, riding along in the golf cart while Darryl golfs, and simply enjoying life.
